Back in January, Keep Shelly in Athens singer Sarah P. announced her immediate departure from the group, saying she’d be “focusing on new things”. Not wasting any time, she’s already back in the studio working on a new project dubbed Fina Fisken.
While Keep Shelly’s ’80s-tinged dream-pop explored hazy intangibles, Sarah P.’s latest venture is decidedly more grounded and aggressive, adrenalized by speed and sweat-soaked energy. Case in point: “Save The Day”, a five-minute thumper that seems to draw from the more propulsive confines of EDM and house music. Check it out below.
