Merge Records’ 25th Anniversary Festival to feature Neutral Milk Hotel, Destroyer, and Lambchop

Merge Records will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a three-day music festival, set for July 23rd – 26th in Carroboro, NC.

The initial lineup includes Neutral Milk Hotel, Destroyer, Lambchop (performing their fifth LP, 2000’s Nixon, in full), Caribou, Bob Mould, Wye Oak, The Clientele, Ex-Hex, and The Rock*A*Teens.

Full Festival Passes are $195 and will go on sale Friday, March 21th at 11 am EST via the Cat’s Cradle website. Individual show tickets will be available at a later date.

In addition to a music festival, Merge’s 25th anniversary festivities include a 25km road race set for March 22nd in Chapel Hill, along with a series of reissues and a subscription-based singles series. More details can be found on Merge’s website.
