I hear his first choice was actually Who Needs Penne Ala Vodka When There’s Never Ending Breadsticks, but he was unable to clear the rights with the Olive Garden. Still, a great title nonetheless.
True to You adds that the album “has been provisionally set” for late June/early July release worldwide by Harvest Records thru Capitol. I don’t like that word “provisionally” either, but apparently Morrissey is “beyond ecstatic” about the 12 tracks he’s recorded for the album, so rest easy knowing you should get this sometime before the Mets’ next World Series victory.
The album was produced by Joe Chiccarelli in France. It marks his debut release with Universal/Harvest Records, and serves as the follow-up to 2009′s Years of Refusal.
