Watch: Arcade Fire’s Win Butler compete in a 3-point contest with Toronto Raptors’ Amir Johnson

on March 15, 2014, 11:47am

Call him indie-rock’s Michael Jordan: off the stage, Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler is an avid baller, who regularly competes in charity basketball games and highly-competitive pick-up contests against Pearl Jam. Recently, Butler appeared on “Off the Record”, a show on Canadian sports network TSN, where he competed in a three-point contest with Toronto Raptors star Amir Johnson. Watch the segment here (in the right column) (via Pitchfork). Also look out for appearances from City and Colour frontman Dallas Green and Hall-of-Fame player/coach Lenny Wilkins.

Butler is currently on the road with Arcade Fire, playing covers and making fun of politicians. The tour resumes Sunday night in Cleveland, where they’ll surely cover Guided By Voices.
