Ab-Soul’s These Days due June 24th, shares video for “Stigmata”

on May 30, 2014, 7:34pm

It seems the fans have spoken: Black Hippy member Ab-Soul will release his new album, These Days, on June 24th via Top Dawg Entertainment.

In an interview with Billboard earlier this week, Ab-Soul said the follow-up to 2012’s Control System will feature Black Hippy running buddies Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q, plus Danny Brown and Mac Miller, whose home studio he recorded the majority of the record. That’s the album’s cover art above.

And speaking of crucifixions, Ab-Soul has unveiled a short music video for his new single “Stigmata”, which features him cast in the role of Jesus as he drags his cross through the desert. It’s sort of like Puffy’s video for “Hate Me Now”, only somehow way less sacrilegious. Watch it below.
