Governors Ball reveals 2014 schedule

on May 21, 2014, 12:21pm

The fourth Governors Ball Music Festival goes down June 6th – 8th at Randall’s Island Park in New York City. Today, organizers revealed the schedule for this year’s festivities.

OutKast and Damon Albarn will close out the festival’s first day. Other tough decisions you’ll be faced with: TV on the Radio or Grimes; Neko Case or La Roux; Julian Casablancas or Jenny Lewis.

Saturday isn’t much easier: Jack White and Skrillex will play opposite one another as the evening’s headliners. White’s set will be preceded by The Strokes’ first festival performance in three years. However, they’ll be playing opposite Childish Gambino. Other conflicts include Spoon and Sleigh Bells; Disclosure and Broken Bells; and Deafheaven and Tanlines.

Vampire Weekend will headline the festival’s third and final day. There are a few nasty conflicts earlier in the day — Tyler the Creator plays opposite AlunaGeorge and Banks faces off against Wild Belle — but you should be able to see The Kills, James Blake, and Interpol without a problem.
