Listen: Hamilton Leithauser’s new song “I Retired”, featuring Rostam Batmanglij

on May 20, 2014, 11:59am

Former Walkmen frontman Hamilton Leithauser will release his new album, Black Hours, next month through Ribbon Music. While its technically his turn in the solo spotlight, the LP is peppered with a number of interesting collaborations. Last month, we saw him team up with the Dirty Projectors’ Amber Coffman on the tropical-inspired “11 O’Clock Friday Night”. Now, Leithauser enlists the help of Vampire Weekend’s own Rostam Batmanglij for “I Retired”, a slow-rolling and twangy charmer. Watch its accompanying lyric video below.

Black Hours arrives on June 3rd. For more sounds, check out “Alexandra” and “In The Shallows”.
