Finnish singer Olivia Merilahti and French multi-instrumentalist Dan Levy combine to form the pop-outfit The Dø. After releasing their stellar sophomore album Both Ways Open Jaws in 2011, the duo have finally returned with new music. Today, they’ve shared a new single “Keep Your Lips Sealed”, a track that’s set to appear on their as-yet-announced forthcoming album.

According to the band’s Facebook page, they’ve been working on their upcoming third record since November 2012 and judging by the bubblegum hooks of “Keep Your Lips Sealed”, the year and a half of work seems to have paid off. Featuring Levy’s forceful but light production, which includes horns, jumpy synths, and harsh clashes of percussions the song is lively and chaotic. However, Merilahti’s personality-filled voice keeps all of the instrumental busyness grounded, offering a fresh take on their brand of eccentric pop. Listen in below.
