Prince performed three shows in five hours at a tiny club in Belgium last night

Over the last year, Prince has made headlines for a variety of unique performances. There was that time he hosted a pajama party at his Minnesota estate, that other time when he thrilled a small New York City venue with an epic performance lasting until 6am, and that one time when he debuted a bunch of new music on The Arsenio Hall Show (R.I.P). Last night, he kept fans on their toes once again, performing not once, not twice, but three shows in the span of five hours at a tiny 400-capacity club in Brussels, Belgium.

Purple Rain

Prince is amidst a European tour with 3rdEyeGirl. Next up, he’ll play two shows in Paris on Sunday, June 1st followed by gigs in Berlin and Vienna on June 3rd and 7th, respectively. His new album, PLECTRUMELECTRUM, is due out later this year, as is the 30th anniversary reissue of Purple Rain.
