Watch: The Black Keys bounce back with ferocious Letterman performance

on May 13, 2014, 1:03am

This week, The Black Keys celebrate the release of their eighth studio album, Turn Blue. To help mark the occasion, the duo pulled double duty Monday night, performing on both The Late Show and Live on Letterman webcast series.

Bouncing back from their rather uninspired SNL set over the weekend, the band’s rollicking webcast performance featured material from Turn Blue and its predecessor El Camino, as well as other fan favorites. Meanwhile, for Letterman proper, they tore through album tracks “Fever” and “It’s Up To You Now”. Both performances took place on the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theater, making the whole thing all that more special.

Replay both performances below.
