Watch: Two teenagers crash Bruce Springsteen’s performance of “No Surrender”

on May 08, 2014, 11:35am

The way millennials flock to the next big EDM thing like flies to a fluorescent light, it’s not hard to believe the theory that many of them hate an old rocker like Bruce Springsteen. But then a video like this pops up — two teenage boys literally freaking the f*ck out over The Boss — and I’m inclined to think otherwise and say “there’s still hope for you yet, young Padawans.”

During his show in Houston, TX Tuesday night, Springsteen invited the teens on-stage to sing along with him on the Born in the U.S.A. cut “No Surrender”. I don’t know what put a bigger smile on my face: seeing the boys’ totally ecstatic and shell-shocked faces or watching all three of ’em absolutely belt their freaking hearts out like no tomorrow. God bless rock & roll, and God bless Bruce Springsteen.
