On NBC’s The Voice, Usher and Adam Levine are usually pitted against each other as rival coaches. But on last night’s episode, they stepped away from their spinning seats and joined forces to cover D’Angelo’s ultra-sensual “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”.
That’s right: two vastly different singers came together in the name of funk, R&B, and melting the faces of women everywhere with a rather spot-on rendition of one of the most seductive and steamy tunes in the entire neo-soul canon. If this doesn’t get your heart racing even a teensy bit, you might want to have a coworker check for a pulse.

From there, Usher teamed up with with his mentee Josh Kaufman to cover The Police’s “Every Breath You Take”. It may not have the same unbridled sex appeal, but man oh man can that Kaufman kid belt. Catch it below:
In addition to his duties on The Voice, Usher is prepping his eighth studio album for later this year; if you haven’t already, check out the lead single “Good Kisser”. Meanwhile, Levine’s Maroon 5 will release their new album V in September.
