With the video for “Rimbaud Eyes”, Dum Dum Girls played around in a technicolor cartoon world. In their latest set of visuals behind Too True, however, the L.A. dream-pop outfit strips out all the shiny colors and enters a world of sleek black-and-white.
The video for “Under These Hands”, part of a session for clothier All Saints’ London Sessions series, features a truly inspired performance, as the band churn in synchronicity while frontwoman Dee Dee Penny writhes around on the floor. Aesthetically, the whole affair looks like some high-end punk rock show; only replace torn jeans with fashionable leather and circle pits with ’60s-inspired bopping.
