Jimmy Fallon may have been hogging all of Jack White’s late night appearances lately, but White never forgets his friends. He and Conan O’Brien have a long-documented bromance; the rocker even honored the comedian by being his first musical guest on TBS’ Conan. Last night, White returned to Conan in support of his latest record, Lazaretto. There, White performed “Temporary Ground” for TV as well as the album bonus track “Alone In My Home” as a web exclusive.
Prior to the performance, White sat down with Conan to discuss a number of topics. Among them, he explored the ubiquity of “Seven Nation Army”, hearing it everywhere from sporting events to cruise ships, and continuing his campaign against cellphones at concerts. “No one’s in the moment,” he said. “Everyone’s documenting the moment”.

White recently expanded his U.S. tour, which already includes a headlining spot this Saturday at Bonnaroo and another at what could be the greatest lineup of the year at the legendary Newport Folk Fest. See his full itinerary here.
