on July 07, 2014, 2:46pm

Seemingly lost in the shuffle of Jack White’s new solo album and subsequent world tour is the forthcoming album from The Dead Weather. In the lead-up to the album’s 2015 release, White is releasing a series of two-song singles. The first installment arrived back in January with “Open Up (That’s Enough)” and “Rough Detective”. Now, White has announced the next release.

Featuring songs titled “Buzzkill(er)” and “It’s Just Too Bad”, the new 7-inch will be available first in the latest installment of Third Man Record’s Vault subscription series. It will be released digitally at a later date. In anticipation, you can stream a preview of “Buzzkill(er)” below.

The 21st Vault Package also includes a new vinyl live album dubbed Live Under The Lights Of The Rising Sun, featuring two recordings of The White Stripes’ first trip to Japan in October 2000. A preview of “Hello Operator” from the LP is also streaming below.

The subscription deadline for Vault #21 is July 31st. Click here to sign up.
