Later this fall, London rock duo 2:54 — comprised of sisters Hannah and Colette Thurlow — will return with their sophomore album via their new label Bella Union. While details are still scarce, the two-piece have shared a new song entitled “Orion”, which finds them expanding on the “gothic, romantic haze” of their 2012 self-titled debut.
“Orion” bundles together ’90s alt-rock brawn, Dum Dum Girls’ gloomy shoegaze, and Zola Jesus’ ominous operatic approach for a truly stormy and atmospheric affair. Listen in below.
