on August 19, 2014, 6:07pm

After releasing two albums, San Diego-based post-hardcore outfit Drive Like Jehu disbanded in 1995, in part to allow founding member John Reis to pursue his other band Rocket From The Crypt. However, today, Drive Like Jehru announced a reunion show, marking their first performance in 20 years.

On August 31st, the band will play a free show at Balboa Park in San Diego, California. They will be accompanied by civic organist Dr. Carol Williams.

At the moment, it’s unclear if the band has any other shows planned. Below, revisit their Yank Crime highlight “Here Come The Rome Plows”.
