Deep breath, everybody: Morrissey has announced a new string of European tour dates. Though his latest record, World Peace is None of Your Business, currently has no label behind it, Moz will (theoretically) kick off the trek on October 6th in Lisbon, PT, the first of 18 shows through November.

Update: Morrissey has added seven more dates to the schedule.

The new dates come about two and a half months after Morrissey canceled the final stretch of his last US tour due to illness. Moz and his team laid the blame for that one on his opening act, Kristeen Young, who in turn disputed the claim that she was ever sick. Of course, the Smiths frontman has quite a history of axed tours due to everything from bad penne and tomato sauce to double pneumonia.

No word yet on what will cut this latest leg short, but we suggest you buy this unofficial tour shirt in advance anyway.
