New York alt rock outfit Blonde Redhead will release their first album in four years, Barragán, on September 2nd via Kobalt Records. In anticipation, the album is streaming in full at NPR.org.

The follow-up to 2010’s Penny Sparkle spans 10 songs and was produced, engineered, and mixed by Drew Brown (Radiohead, Beck) at studios in both Michigan and New York City.

In an interview with Reverb, singer Kazu Makino said Brown introduced the band to more analog instruments to help round out their sound.

The album is preceded by three singles, “No More Honey”, “Dripping”, and “The One I Love”.
