on September 12, 2014, 9:02am

As he enters his final year as host of the Late Show, David Letterman has basically become a walking meme for his hysterical reactions to bands performing on the program. Once Adams and The Shining were done with their potent rendition, Letterman proclaimed a serious of superlatives — “Come on!”, “What do you want?”, “Oh my goodness!” — before asking for an encore. Adams, of course, obliged.
