on October 14, 2014, 10:45am

Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. has built a steady stream of hype in anticipation of his new studio album, Cadillactica (out November 11th via Def Jam). In March, K.R.I.T. released a new song every day for an entire week as part of his ambitious “Week of K.R.I.T.” series. This was followed by the release of his one-off single “Mt. Olympus”, a remix of Alt-J’s “Every Other Freckle”, and a new mixtape. After previewing the upcoming effort with the Rico Love-assisted single, “Pay Attention”, K.R.I.T. returns today to premiere the album’s title track.

Like most Big K.R.I.T. songs, “Cadillactica” finds the southern MC mixing in his slippery, spitfire flow over an expertly curated synth-laden beat. This song is proof that as one of the most consistent rappers going, he can easily keep his streak alive on the new LP. Listen in below.
