Ty Segall runs with a pretty intense crowd, it would appear. After hanging out with gun-toting monster in last year’s clip for “The Man Man”, the San Fran rocker enjoys the company of ghosts in the video for the Manipulator standout “The Singer”. Of course, this isn’t exactly a sequel to Poltergeist; instead, Segall and his ghostly band jam through the slow-building anthem in a rather cluttered room. (Were these people hoarders, who died when their mounds of belongings finally collapsed onto them?) What it lacks in terror, though, it more than makes up for with a subtle, but nonetheless killer homage to the greatest ending in cinematic history, Beetlejuice.
