James Blake remixes Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc.” — listen

on November 26, 2014, 11:19am

James Blake may have a new album on the way, but that doesn’t mean he’s done away with his Harmonomix alter ego. Under that moniker, the UK crooner has remixed the likes of Kendrick Lamar (“M.A.A.d City”), OutKast (“International Players Anthem”), and Destiny’s Child (“Bills Bills Bills”). This week, Blake tackles another classic in Gorillaz’ 2005 Grammy-winning hit, “Feel Good Inc.”. Peppered with additional percussive oomph and synth-y spark, the Demon Days original is flipped into a frenetic and feverish jam. Listen in below.

As FACT notes, the “Feel Good Inc.” remix surfaced during a FABRICLIVE X Hit & Run Mix by Rich Reason and is said to be “from back in the day.”

In related news, Blake recently announced a North American tour, whose dates can be found here.
