Johnny Jewel has once again cracked open the vault and shared unreleased songs and rarities from both Chromatics and his solo work with Italians Do It Better. Among today’s offerings is an 8-track version of Chromatics’ “Shadow”, a near-fully-formed dream pop ballad marked by lush synths, an array of dreamy guitars, and reverb-soaked vocals. “End Credits”, meanwhile, is a Johnny Jewel solo song, with rumbling atmospherics that sound ripped from some ambient-meets-John Carpenter film soundtrack.
