Young Ejecta share new song “Your Planet” — listen

on November 26, 2014, 4:00pm

On January 27th, electropop duo Young Ejecta (fka Ejecta) will release The Planet, a mini-album that serves as the follow-up to last fall’s Dominae LP. Already we’ve heard “Welcome To Love”, and today the pair has unveiled “Your Planet”. Whereas its predecessor was more of a satiny lullaby, “The Planet” and its new wave rhythms and barrage of lasery synths is best suited for some disco amongst the stars.

“I wrote ‘Your Planet’ for my dear friend Josiah, who died when we were just shy of 21,” singer Leanne Macomber told BuzzFeed. “Josiah remains one of the most incredible people to have ever walked this planet. My fantasy is that he now has his own world and that when he looks back to Earth he remembers me and knows how much I love him.”
