A ton of Beyoncé memorabilia, including T-shirts, CDs, and DVDs, as well as other personal belongings, were sold at a garage sale held by the singer’s father, Matthew Knowles, in Houston on Wednesday.
According to Click 2 Houston, the garage sale took place outside of Knowles’ Houston recording studio. With deals including three T-shirts for $10.00, Knowles expected to fetch $2,000 in sales.
Matthew Knowles served as Beyoncé’s manager up until 2011, but was fired amidst allegations of infidelity and his divorce from Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles. In an interview with Click 2 Houston, Matthew maintained that he was not suffering from financial problems, but was rather cleaning out his studios.
