For many of us, New Year’s Eve has been one of the most overrated holidays. The lines are too long, it’s impossible to get a cab, going out is ridiculously expensive, and there’s the nagging realization that you’ll never succeed with your resolutions. However, this year there is a reason to turn off Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution and get off the couch: Consequence of Sound is hosting an end-of-the-year party at Chicago’s GMan Tavern.
The event begins at 9 p.m. No cover. We’ll have drink specials for Lagunitas drafts and Tito’s Vodka cocktails along with champagne and pizza. Plus, CoS staffers will be curating a dance party featuring our favorite jams from this year and beyond (promise we won’t be that guy and play Death Cab For Cutie’s “The New Year” at midnight).
