Though they’ve been relatively quiet the last 12 months, Passion Pit have re-emerged just in time for the season of giving. Frontman Michael Angelakos has shared a charming acoustic performance of Manners highlight “Sleepyhead”, recorded from the comfort of his own bed.
The homemade clip is part of MyMusicRx’s Bedstock event, the world’s first ongoing music festival in which artists turn their bedrooms into makeshift venues. The online festival was launched earlier this month on #GivingTuesday in hopes of raising funds and awareness for MyMusicRx, a Children’s Cancer Association program that delivers “the healing power of music” to kids and teens.

While the above performance may seem like a one-off appearance, Passion Pit look poised to return to the spotlight in 2015: The synthpop outfit just announced its first concert of the New Year at Louisiana’s Buku Music + Art Project.
