Jack White recently returned to the road for a brief US tour that’ll culminate Friday night with a big, big show at Madison Square Garden. Last night, he got a chance to warm up in the friendly confines of the Bridgestone Arena in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. He treated the audience to a few surprises, with the biggest highlight being an on-stage reunion of The Raconteurs.

Marking their first performance together in three years, White reunited with Brendan Benson and Jack Lawrence during the set’s encore to play “Salute Your Solution” and “Steady, As She Goes”. (White’s drummer Daru Jones filled in for Patrick Keeler, who was absent for the performance.)

Afterward, White invited Loretta Lynn to the stage. They sang a duet of “Portland, Oregon” from her 2004 album Van Lear Rose, which White produced, as well as the rarity “Whispering Sea”. (Lynn also served as the evening’s opening act.)
