Ever-engrossing producer Boots has released his new short film Motorcycle Jesus. The original score for the 30-minute movie contains a handful of new material from the Beyoncé producer, as well as contributions from El-P and Carla Azar.
Press for the clip says Boots chose to create the short film as opposed to a traditional music video release cycle. Set in the sparse, red Mojave Desert, Boots worked closely with director of photography Hunter Baker to set up every shot, making the film entirely his own. For the tech savvy, the clip additionally claims to be “one of the first of its kind to be presented in 4K HD (2160p).”
The soundtrack to Motorcycle Jesus is due out March 3rd via Canvasback/Atlantic. Watch the whole thing below.
