This morning, Drake released a new short film called Jungle, and it is quintessential Drake. Directed by Karim Huu Do, the 14-minute visual sees the Toronto emcee striking pensive poses while reflecting on his life and career. “Shit’s crazy like … the whole energy out here is just changing you know — it’s getting dark, man, quick,” he says during the video’s opening moments, in case you forgot Drake is deep.

Spliced between the philosophical verbiage and forlorn stares out the window are old clips from his past, including footage of a very young and adorable Aubrey Drake Graham sporting big hair, glasses, and a love for Wyclef Jean. Additionally, at about the 5:50 mark, we get a glimpse of a previously unheard Drake song. Does this mean we’ll finally be getting that long-awaited mixtape? All signs seem to point to “yes.” Watch the full film below.

Along with that mixtape, Drake is currently working on a new studio album, Views from the 6.
