British singer-songwriter/producer Jimmy Napes picked up four Grammy Awards on Sunday night, three of which were for his work on Sam Smith’s smash debut In The Lonely Hour. Not one to rest on his laurels, however, Napes returns today with a brand new solo track titled “Making of Me”.
Ushered in by a swell of melancholic strings, the track seems to have all the makings of a typical pop ballad. That is, of course, until Napes drops the beat.
