There was a period of time following Oasis’ breakup that brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher wouldn’t even dare to utter the other’s name. Fans pining for a reunion will then be happy to learn that the brothers seem to have buried the hatchet.
Liam has posted a photo to Twitter in which he can be seen holding a backstage pass for one of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ upcoming concerts. “Keeping it in the family…” the caption reads.

In an interview from 2013, Noel quickly shot down the prospects of Oasis ever getting back together, telling Rolling Stone, “If there is a reunion, I won’t be in it.” However, in the two years since, he’s seemed to warm up to the idea — albeit for the right price.
“Nobody has made us an offer. I’ve been in the same room as Liam, and even then nobody’s said, ‘Weren’t Oasis great? You should reform.'” Noel told Q magazine in January. “But if I was ever going to do it, it would only be for the money. This isn’t me putting it out there, by the way. Would I do it for charity? No way. We’re not that kind of people. For Glastonbury? I don’t think [organizer] Michael Eavis has got enough money. But would we get back together one day? As long as everybody is still alive and still has their hair, it’s always a possibility.”
Adding to the prospects, Liam is currently without a band following the breakup of Beady Eye last year. That said, Noel remains busy with High Flying Birds, having released their latest album Chasing Yesterday in February, which they’re currently supporting with a lengthy tour.
