Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett will release her debut album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, on March 24th through Mom + Pop Records. In anticipation, it’s streaming in full via iTunes Radio.
The 11-track follows 2013’s excellent The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas, and was recorded in Barnett’s hometown of Melbourne at Head Gap Studio with a backing band in tow. Prior to its official release, the Aussie rocker performed the LP in its entirety during a secret show last week.
“My songs follow me as a normal human with normal emotions,” Barnett said in a press statement, adding, “So there are great highs and great lows. They span everything in my life.”
Pre-orders are ongoing. Below, watch the video for “Depreston”.
