Zac Brown Band announces new album, Jekyll + Hyde, plus US tour dates

Grammy-winning country rock outfit Zac Brown Band has announced its fourth studio LP, Jekyll + Hyde. Serving as the follow-up to 2012’s Uncaged and 2013’s Dave Grohl-produced EP The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1the new full-length is due April 29th via Southern Ground/John Varvatos Records/Big Machine Label Group/Republic Records.

Bandleader Brown described the 16-track effort as having “things that people will expect and things that they won’t.” Some of those things they won’t include an appearance by Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell on “Heavy is the Head”, set to premiere this Friday on iHeartRadio. Sara Bareilles also guests on “Mango Tree”, and “Dress Blue” was penned by Jason Isbell. In the meantime, listen to the first single, “Homegrown”, below.

Pre-orders for the record are going on now at the band’s website, and come with advanced downloads of “Homegrown”, “Dress Blues”, and “Heavy is the Head”.

The band has also announced a string of North American stadium shows to coincide with the new record. Many of the shows will take place at baseball stadiums, including Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, Citi Field, Coors Field, and more. They’ll also premiere new music this weekend when they perform on Saturday Night Live.
