Cloud Nothings offshoot Total Babes share new song “Blurred Time” — listen

on April 24, 2015, 12:30pm

Total Babes is a punk outfit featuring Cloud Nothings drummer Jayson Gerycz. On May 19th, the band releases the follow-up to 2011’s debut album Swimming Through Sunlight. Spanning eight tracks, Heydays features contributions from Cloud Nothings frontman Dylan Baldi, Emeralds’ John Elliott, and Smooth Brain’s Nathan Ward.

In anticipation, the dapper Total Babes have unveiled a new song called “Blurred Time”. Though at times a tad poppier than what can be found on Here and Nowhere Else and Attack on Memory, it still counts scruffy guitars that bolt at breakneck speed and snarled vocals as formidable weapons. Listen in below.

Heydays hits stores via Wichita Recordings. For more, check out “Circling” featuring Baldi and the title track. In support, Total Babes will be hitting the road this June with Sebadoh and Pile.
