Kendrick Lamar is credited as a co-writer on Kanye West’s “All Day”. Today, a reference track performed by Kendrick has made its way online (it was previously reported to be a remix, but that now appears to be inaccurate).
The track was clearly written with Kanye in mind, as it hears Kendrick referencing Kanye’s name and Chicago on several occasions. While many of the lyrics did not make the final cut, there are a few familiar bars (“24/7, 365 days, everybody gettin’ paid/ Niggas lookin’ at me like I’m worth both MJs”).
Kanye previously enlisted Kendrick to open his Yeezus tour, but the two have yet to release a collaborative track. Read more about their off-stage relationship here.
