Foo Fighters rock out in tiny Ohio record store in celebration of Record Store Day

on April 18, 2015, 4:12pm

Dave Grohl served as this year’s Record Store Day Ambassador, so naturally, Foo Fighters went all out on this national day of celebration. In addition to releasing an EP of rarities and unreleased songs, the band performed a gig inside the Record Connection, a tiny record store in Niles, Ohio, located just miles away from Grohl’s hometown of Warren.

Those fans who managed to gain access were treated to a nine-song set featuring performances of “White Limo”, “Pretender”, “Alone + Easy Target”, and a cover of Kim Wilde’s “Kids in America”. “I know we’re in a strip mall,” [but] let’s pretend this is a stadium!” Grohl told the 150-person capacity crowd.

Check out a few photos from the festivities and the setlist below.
