Listen to two unreleased Foo Fighters songs: “Empty Handed” and “Kids in America”

on April 19, 2015, 3:44pm

Foo Fighters released Songs from the Laundry Room as their contribution to Record Store Day’s list of exclusives this year. The 10-inch features previously unreleased demos of “Alone + Easy Target” and “Big Me”, a cover of Kim Wilde’s “Kids in America”, and a previously unreleased track called “Empty Handed”.

Songs from the Laundry Room takes its name from Barrett Jones’ studio in Seattle where the tracks were recorded between 1991 and 1993, according to the fansite Foo Fighters Live. Both “Alone + Easy Target” and “Big Me” would eventually appear on the Foo’s self-titled debut album.

Listen to individual streams of “Kids in America” and “Empty Handed”.
