On June 2nd, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin will release its new album, The High Country, through Polyvinyl Records. The 11-track effort was recorded in Chris Walla’s Hall of Justice studio with the help of engineer Beau Sorenson (Superchunk, Garbage) and follows 2013’s Fly By Wire. Already we’ve heard the lead single “Step Brother City”; now the band’s unveiled another scruffy indie pop jam in “Trevor Forever”.
The song’s crunchy chorus will no doubt have fans tapping their toes in delight, but its awesome accompanying video may perhaps inspire double the awe. The clip not only features a footage from an episode of Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, but a behind-the-scenes look at the largest cassette tape factory in the US. Check it out below.
In addition to the new track, SSLYBY has announced a US tour in support of the LP.
