One of the more anticipated films of 2015 is M. Night Shyamalan’s project with Blumhouse Productions, The Visit. The film finds the recently troubled director returning to his roots — ahem, The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs — to share a frightening new tale about a brother and a sister visiting their grandparents on their remote Pennsylvania farm. And no, they’re not exactly knitting, looking at old photos, or eating freezer-burned food, either. Watch the terrifying trailer below to get a better idea.

The Visit hits theaters on September 11th via Universal Pictures. Starring Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould, Peter McRobbie, and Benjamin Kanes, the film was written by Shyamalan himself and sees him reuniting with longtime collaborator and composer James Newton Howard. In related news, read our recent interview with producer Jason Blum, who shares a few haunting stories of his own, specifically about his latest horror hit, Unfriended.
