Flying Lotus shares new song “Transmolecularization” — listen

on May 15, 2015, 11:00am

Since its premiere back in January, Flying Lotus has used his BBC Radio 1 Residency to gift fans with a whole host of goodies. The super producer’s shared never-before-heard cuts “Theme” (Alternative Edit)” and “Post Requisite”, a new version of “Never Catch Me”, and a previously unreleased Kendrick Lamar collaboration in “Eyes Above”. Last night, he took to the airwaves once more to reveal a new song called “Transmolecularization”.

Short yet soulful, the track is an outtake from FlyLo’s own You’re Dead! album sessions and features contributions from jazz artist and composer Kamasi Washington. Listen in over at the BBC.
