Foo Fighters are on a break between legs of their Sonic Highways world tour. Over the weekend, Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflet, and Rami Jaffe kept their chops in shape with a surprise concert at Conejo Valley Days, a county fair in Thousand Oaks, California.

Appearing as Chevy Metal, the moniker of Hawkins’ covers band, they raced through an 18-song set composed exclusively of covers. The setlist included songs by AC/DC, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, and Billy Joel, among others. Below, watch video of a Grohl-led performance of Bryan Adams’ “Summer of ’69”, as well as The Knack’s “My Sharona” and AC/DC’s “Let There Be Rock”.
