Beirut has shared the video for “No No No”, the lead single off the band’s forthcoming album of the same name. Directed by Brother Willis, the clip finds the indie folk outfit performing on an American Bandstand-type stage that’s rigged with oddball surprises.
Instead of normal instruments, the group’s forced to play using peculiar objects like skunks and baguettes (taking a cue from Smash Mouth, perhaps?). There’s even a scene in which Zach Condon’s smashed over the head with a bottle by some random #dadbod. All in all, it’s a goofy and fun summertime watch. Check it out below.
No No No the album, the follow-up to 2011’s widely acclaimed The Rip Tide, hits shelves on September 11th via 4AD.
