This year during South by Southwest, Consequence of Sound teamed with Jukely and Tito’s Handmade Vodka to bring Off the Avenue to Austin. We invited nearly 30 bands to visit our special 5th Street Studios setup and film exclusive sessions.

This go-around, New York DIY trio ADVAETA dropped by to unload some scuzzy noise rock in the Austin studio. The trio performed “Angelfish”, the opening cut off their recent debut LP, Death and the Internet. That record is out now via Fire Talk Records, and you can watch the ladies dig into the song below.

Revisit our past SXSW OTA sessions with The Zombies, The DistrictsMew, Rubblebucket, Public Service BroadcastingThe Vaccines, Kopecky, Kevin Devine, Diarrhea Planet, Doomtree, Monster Rally & Jay Stone, Krill, The Stone Foxes, Yumi Zouma, Milo Greene, Turbo Fruits, and Wilsen. Stay tuned for more from San Fermin, Torres, Hollis Brown, and others. You can also still dig deep into all the other past Off the Avenue sessions here.
