Ozzy Osbourne forms supergroup with Geezer Butler, Slash, and Tom Morello

on June 18, 2015, 5:38pm

With Black Sabbath unable to resolve their differences, Ozzy Osbourne has found a new group of collaborators. Along with Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, Ozzy will join forces with Slash and Tom Morello for a performance at New Orleans’ Voodoo Music Experience on October 31st, aka Halloween night.

Voodoo will mark the all-star rock collective’s only North American performance, though they’ll also play together abroad in the coming months. No word yet on who will drum, though it’ll undoubtedly be someone smart.

Also playing Voodoo in 2015 are Florence and the Machine, Zac Brown Band, deadmau5, Modest Mouse, Chance the Rapper, Giorgio Moroder, Santigold, Jane’s Addiction, Girl Talk, Joey Bada$$, The Joy Formidable, Hundred Waters, and Frank Turner. The festival takes place October 30th-November 1st at New Orleans’ City Park.
