Bonnaroo offers a little something for everyone, from music to art to beer to comedy and everything in between. That’s why it attracts some 80,000 attendees a year, many of who are first-time festival goers. Such was the case for Denny, Isolde, Anne, and Neil, four individuals who had never been to a fest before — and all of them are over 70.
Funny or Die and Bonnaroo teamed up to send the geriatric quartet to the fest on Friday, and they had a way better time than you or I did. Not only did they watch Kendrick Lamar from the soundboard and skip the line at Silent Disco, they got to meet a bunch of the artists on the bill. They rode the ferris wheel with Dawes, told jokes to Ron Funches, hung out in Mumford and Sons’ trailer, and were even brought up on stage with Guster. Sure, Kendrick was a bit loud for some of their tastes, but Dawes blew some minds!
Cameras followed them as they ate dinner with Houndmouth and got advice from Rubblebucket, and now you can watch the whole thing below. Their reaction to Silent Disco may be the most priceless thing ever. Check it out:
