Benjamin Booker covers Patsy Cline’s “Walkin’ After Midnight” — watch

On last week’s edition of AV Undercover, we saw They Might Be Giants tackle an unlikely song in Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills”. Today’s installment, however, features a match made in blues heaven.

Here, Benjamin Booker delivers a soulful take on the Patsy Cline classic “Walkin’ After Midnight”, his raspy vocals leading the way. Booker’s 2014 self-titled debut album might’ve solidified him as one of modern music’s most exciting blues rockers, but his vintage style of sound could easily fool anyone into thinking he was one of Cline’s ’50s contemporaries.
