Aphex Twin shares two new songs under his AFX moniker — listen

on August 11, 2015, 2:15pm

In less than two weeks, Aphex Twin will drop Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008), the first release under his AFX moniker in almost a decade. Already we’ve heard a pair of songs from the eight-track effort in “serge fenix Rendered 2” and “oberheim blacet1b”. Today, the elusive producer’s let loose two more.

“simple slamming b 2” is a relentless rattler of a number; it can be heard below. Meanwhile, “midi pipe1c sds3time cube/klonedrm” entrances with laser-like synths and droning percussion; listen to that track over on Bleep, where you can also pre-order the EP.

Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008) arrives on August 21st via Warp.

Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008) Tracklist:
