In two days’ time, Scottish synth pop darlings CHVRCHES will release their excellent sophomore album, Every Open Eye. Today, however, Lauren Mayberry & co. are in the headlines for their interpretation of someone else’s music: Justin Bieber’s ear worm of a new single “What Do You Mean?”. The band laid down their dance club-ready rendition during a recent session for BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
